The Freetown farm is a great location to connect with nature, learn about sustainable agriculture, and build community. I brought my godson to visit during volunteer hours where we learned how to prune, plant, and harvest. The facilities are well maintained, the staff is very knowledgeable, and the produce is very tasty. I’m excited to come back and learn more about the Agrivoltaic system they are testing. Special thanks to Reci for leading our visit.

Really good time everyone was so kind and welcoming. Rune was a kid dude and we smashed some old wood with a sledgehammer pretty fun. Reci love her so kind and understanding she will make you fell like u belong. I had done some gardening and try some of what we garden the tomatoes we were really good. I really do recommend this place if you want to learn how to garden and you will have a amazing experience

This is an incredible gem nestled in Columbia. The staff is amazing, wonderful with kids, and generous in their knowledge. We can’t wait to adopt this as a regular place to volunteer and give back as a family in the years to come.
